Cyberbullying is a digital epidemic. It is a binary malice that I assure you, was not part of the plan when creators of the internet were thinking of connecting people. Its consequences are deadly and we as scholastic leaders we have to be constantly reminding ourselves and those we serve that the problem is latent and that we have to create values because as educators we have that responsibility. We have to have good communication pipelines with students because I think the nature of students is for the greater good, but they are sometimes young ones are distracted and like my grandmother says: idleness is the mother of all vices. Cyberbullying is also very connected to self-esteem and we have to be able to help students be perfectly aware of who they are, and even greater value.
